Went exploring for a few hours with a short hike to Warm Spring

New Fork Lake view from the outlet side of the lake. Water level was lower than normal for this time of year.

The bent cross member @Wolfgang92025 noticed in Wyoming has now croaked.

Doesn't look too difficult to fix, Put a jack under it to push it straight and weld a patch over it on both sides to stiffen it up.

Looks like it split thru the bolt hole. Probably want to make an 'L'-shaped patch with <> tapered diamond shapes on the ends, which brings any future stress risers at the lap joints away from the most highly stressed areas.

I bought a heavier piece of C channel to fab a new crossmember. It’ll go in during the holidays to get ready for next year.
