Walk The Winds Gathering July 20 -23 2018

Okay, okay, I'll leave the microwave at home. I'm actually surprised at the number of campgrounds along our route have electric hookups though.

No microwave means a place for water jugs. And maybe some Texas whiskey.

also maybe a firecracker or two.

I just watched the You Tube videos....and am looking forward to this even more. So glad to have the Angus bear and microwave issues resolved. :D
See you soon!

You're right Sagebrush.....Wyoming gal through and through. That's why I'm leaving town for Frontier Days!

 Just bring yourself and your gear. Be prepared to have a relaxing, enjoyable weekend. :D
See you all in less than 2 weeks!

As of July 9 we have
Slowcowboy (Mike)
Sagebrush (Will )
Lee and Norma
WyoGriff (Laura)
Sparksalot
Mickey, Robert
Rob Fisher (strong possibility)
convoy from Texas (if the stars are right)
Wolfgang
Dguff (Jerome) maybe

So far the stars are right for my daughter and I to attend from Texas. The rest of the convoy has fizzled due to external circumstances.

Sparks,

You are looking at one of the regular campgrounds.
From what
We are in the group camp just to the left bottom of your map (731 on screen shot).
The elevation is about the same. give or take a few feet.
The lake is in easy walking distance, maybe few hundred yards.

Well SMH. Looking at topo maps, there are old mines everywhere. Then it dawned on me. I have some gold pans...

Not looking very good for me. I'm on a big project at work that's running behind schedule. I may just say it's already late. What's a few more days.

What? Unplug from e-mail, phone, facebook, messenger? What? Guess I can't come!
JOKING! Been planning and packing and getting ready to head outta town! See ya'all soon. :applause: :bounce:

Fresh eggs sound great Slow.

I will be bringing some Texas whiskey and vodka for sipping around the fire while telling ghost stories.
