Water Pump Runs Continuously and Will Not Shut Off Under Pressure

So this is my setup. The pump will not shutoff. The screw in the center goes in and hits on cup on top of spring so I'm guessing this how to adjust pressure. I backed all the way out and turned all the way in cycling power and water each time and nothing. Also took apart and checked switch and its working. Any help would be appreciated on how to get this to shut off under pressure.

Well, from a retired electrician's viewpoint.........not being there to actually look at how it's wired, I'd guess the switch isn't in the circuit through some error. Unless you have an open water line that's not allowing pressure to build in the system. Maybe it's trying to fill an on-board tank?

Wiring is correct but pressure switch even though tests good isn't activating. But you were correct I think in the idea of small leaks causing the issue. I'm very familiar with typical plumbing and what I'm coming to learn is the rv stuff can be lacking in quality and in turn can be causing some not so obviousi ssues. I'm going to rethink and redo some connections and try again. I may get a different pump with different style fittings. I used this because I had on hand. Used previously on a shower head kinda setup to clean off the dog while traveling. Wasn't in a pressurized system. Turned power off and on as needed water and didn't care about drips. Pretty sure this will get me to a point that I can make the pressure switch on pump kick in. We'll see but thanks for your input. It helped.

OK. I've had experience with a 27-foot 5th wheel system, and those can take awhile to build up the pressure to trigger the switch. I've also had a pump fail, that was running, but not actually moving water due to freeze damage to the impeller.
I might suggest you dead-head the system a short distance downstream of the pump, so that it can build pressure in a short period of time.
I assume you've actually had water flowing out of the system lines?

Not at all familiar with your set up and can't really tell by the pics, but my first thought was that the pressure switch is likely a reed or plain micro switch that feels movement through some sort of sprung diaphragm or plunger arrangement that isolates the electrical from the wet; as opposed to a direct sensing pressure sensor. The fact that it uses a screw adjustment to alter the set point supports this assumption. If so, and you are separating the switch and testing it dry, then the problem isn't the switch, per se, but might be a damaged diaphragm or stuck plunger that is no longer moving to activate the switch.
