What Does Your Teardrop Trailer Weigh?

if i ever finish my 5x10ish the first thing im going to do is weigh it. weve got a pool going for who is right but im guessing 1500 without water in the tanks

Mine is 2.2m long and as wide the car so at a guess about 1.8m and weighs 280 kg. (617lbs) Probably just as well it's light as the tow car only weighs about 900kg (1900lbs)

My 2005 ( customized) Little Guy 4 wide weighs about 850 lbs fully loaded with generator and campin gear...empty it weighs 765lbs I tow it with my 1965 VW Bug...gotta keep the weight LITE !

Just weigh mine yesterday and it came in at 1520, I'm on the larger size it have a 5x5x10.

My plans the same.
Except im going to use the trailer to pick up some aluminium so ill weigh that on its own before the cabin gos on.
I recon im looking at 1500

Just finished mine to the point that I have taken it out and dragged it around some, and fitted it with most everything we will need when we finally take it out for a weekend.

Mine is a 5 X 10, built using 3/4" ply for the walls, floor and bulkheads. Also have A/C installed, a 9 gallon water tank (empty when I weighed it), and a galley with a camp stove and a small refrigerator. Trailer is built of 2 X 4 steel tube, and has 15" wheels and off road tires. Mattress is a 5" thick memory foam queen.

I pull it with a 2014 Jeep 2 door Wrangler. The whole thing, Jeep & tear, weighs 6200 with the wife and I in the Jeep. The Jeep by itself weighs 4500, which makes the teardrop 1700 pounds. It's a little heavier than I originally estimated, but well within the 2000 pound "tow limit" of my Jeep. I underestimated how much money it would take, too, so there's that!

I tried to weigh everything as I was building last year. That effort went away fast and I had an educated guess around 1200-1500#s. Actually weighed it this year fully loaded with gear. Everything except food, clothing. and blankets it came in at 1460#.

6x10 all aluminum frame and it started out as about 1600# add a 100# AGM battery and 25# propane tank and...
