Was supposed to go to the Sun tunnels but clouds and inversion haze settled in. Had a bad feeling at the last minute.
Decided on somewhere else.
Friday I went to Vernon reservoir and hoping for single digits temps but turned out to be pretty decent and could breath well. Arrived at dark 30 and set up the wood stove.

Wishing I brought my fishing gear, only half the water was frozen .
Later I decided on a better spot and moved .

The last morning before leaving I checked out another spot to see if I could get my trailer in. Was icy and had to dodge a tree stump but made it in. More of a summer spot anyhow.

Was nice to get out and away. Wood stove worked great especially with my new wood guy. Nice 1"cut oak, cherry wood ,ect burned well.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Haven't been able to get out as much as last winter but im planning something here in the next few weeks.
Snow storms have been lackluster this winter.
