These cargo trailers are built quick and dirty, I knew that from the time I purchased mine 5 1/2 years ago. Wished I had thought to pull the aluminum trim around the bottom and run a couple of beads of silicone caulk to close any gaps before reattaching the trim. After a few years, water and dirt collected wherever it could behind the trim and caused some rust on the frame. I think it's just surface rust, so hopefully not a huge deal. I pulled the trim, cleaned off the rust and applied some undercoating. Reapplied with a healthy bead of caulk. Maybe that'll keep things clean for a few years.
