Wyoming Walk the Winds July 5-9 2021

Plan is to be there Monday. Can't wait. I hired someone to teach me how to repack my bearings tonight. Finally I won't have to worry about it anymore. . . hope I hired the correct person. . . I'm such a worrier.

They make a little disk tool thing shaped like a funnel mam.and you can buy them in a hardware store you just put your trailer bearing inside one and hook on a grease gun to the top and pump them full of grease makes it way easer..slow

I'll look into this.

Sorry to hear about your aunt.

Brad, I just noticed the photo on your profile with the long horn cow sniffing your ice box in your galley..is there a good story behind that cow camping photo????.....just courouis.Slow...
It's a pretty good story, Mike. Ask me around the campfire & I'll be glad to tell the story.

After a blown fuse on my trailer running lights for Mordor, I spent 2 weeks going through every inch of wire I had installed to my trailer coming up empty. Then found an worn wire on the manufactured trailer, repaired it, still had a short, found 2 more so just pulled everything to rewire from scratch. Very long & dirty job removing all the caulking the manufacturer had put in the conduits; supposedly to prevent this. Finally got it rewired this week (didn't caulk the conduit ends - opinions?) so I could head to south but now other circumstances are rearing their heads and I won't be able to make it this year.

I hope you all have a great time and the weather treats you better than it's treating me!

:( Work, that is a 4 letter word :(
Glad you are busy, but wish you were camping.
Hope to see you next year. :D
I'll be arriving Monday afternoon.

Be there or be square.

We will miss your not being there. You should just pop down to Walmart and get one of the trailer light sets that go on the outside to temporarily fix it.

It's fixed right and much cheaper than a whole temporary light kit would have been; just a ton of work to fix the thing I had paid good money to be done right a couple years ago when I thought pros could do it better than me. The lights weren't keeping me form the trip anyway, I could have done other temporary solutions but gas money, migraines, and a couple other things just made this one too hard to do right now....

:D Had a great gathering :D
New friends, old friends, Birthday cake.
Great weather, nice rain first day, warm days, cool nights
Lots of stories around the fire in the evening.
A little smoke Friday as we were leaving. Just enough to give the morning g sun a yellow tint.
Trailers from
Florida
Tennessee
Texas
Colorado
Utah
Idaho
Montana
Wyoming
:D
Hope to see all of you and others next year.
Thanks for coming
Will

Well, ya gotta year to get the teardrop door fixed. Maybe next year everything will line up perfect. Seems like everyone had a good time and a big thanks should go to Will for keeping this gathering alive. :applause: Maybe I'll get a group together to come back in 2022. We sure love it out there.

Glad to hear that you all had a good time and the weather wasn't too bad. Wish we could have made it, but I have a bunch to finish/fix before the next trip. Learned a bunch on our shakedown trip to the Grand Canyon and have quite a hit list of things to do before we take it out again.

This was a fantastic campout. Thanks to everyone for the good times and conversations. I was a little bummed we didn't get to do the lantern lighting. I bought one just for this campout. Now I'll have to wait until next year to light it.

Life is pulling me a different way right now.
Whatever it is, it must be *damn* important. Hope it works out. Wait'll next year.

Looking forward to it! My b'day is that Wednesday. :p Party on.

I had no idea how my life was about to turn when I pulled the plug for the trip. And it was damn important.
