Oh no looks like the button man better get off his button, we've got a lot of new people that will need name tag buttons

The way we've done it in the past on name tag buttons is the first one per each registered person/family is a gift from the Hoosier Tearjerkers to you each additional one is only $1 I'll bring them and collect there.

If you'd like 1 or more for you and those joining us please send me a PM rather than posting in the thread so that I can keep better track of the buttons needed.

I can put any chapter you'd like or if you would prefer one that's not chapter specific I've also done a teardrop button to show your pride.

Image

If there's something else you'd like on a button just let me know.

Also don't forget your trading cards

Image

PM me for details

OK I'll get off my soap box now

Another update Talked with Todd about the banners if anyone would like a banner they are $12 plus shipping $1. Last spring we put together an order and had them all shipped to one place and it saved on the shipping and I passed them out at the gathering. If anyone would be interested in a banner let me know and I'll start a list for him. I would need to collect in advance as I'll have to send the money to Todd. They wouldn't need to be ordered until the beginner of April so you'll have a little time. If you are interested send me a PM or email me and we'll work out details.

Bob,
Do you remember how site #74, looked we are going to bring our new bed warmer with us and thought that might be a nice quiet site for him to get use to camping. We are going to try for a few weekends here close to home first to see how he does. He is going on 5 months old right now, so by may he should be ok. He is pretty laid back being a Newfy, By the time May comes I might have to bring a tent for me, Ha. Let me know if you can remember what they looked like, right now 72,73 and 74 are still open.
Thanks Bob!

72 , 73 and 74 are all road height and close to the modern restrooms.

Indy Jeff and Scuba Jeff are on 75 and 76 both these sites are about 10 feet lower than yours but are really nice ( unless they are underwater) as they are real near the creek. Our site 77 is back up at road height. We hope to make 75 and 76 party central for our corner of the world. We are bringing 2 monsters this time .

Went looking ......here is a pic of 75's table. If you look directly above it you will see the power outlet for 74.
It is a really nice site in my opinion just watch out for the neighbors. :D

ERV,

Both site #74 & #73 were nice sites. At site #74 you are at the edge of the woods as you can see here.

Image

Here is site #74.

Image

Site #73 has two large (cedar?) trees to either side of the pad.

Image

I can't help you beyond that as the sun was bright 8) and I had to race back to the shade. Call me crazy but I just like the woods when I camp...

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

Thanks Jeff
A soon as I get back to the house I will lock in 74. With all this snow I have been working a lot of hours. Seems like I never see the house during the day time. And I forget what the wife looks like. ha. But it sure helps pay the bills.

In anticipation of warmer weather, I checked out the new projector today to see what it can do. I need to try it tonight again in a darker room and at a longer distance to really see what it can do. So far it looks good.

I bought a DVD of "RV" so we have an option for "movie night" at the Spring Mill gathering.

Next project (warmer weather) is to install the new sound system in the teardrop that will replace my old one. This one should have better (and more adjustable) sound for the movie goers.

I found that the old one was only working on one speaker and the sub woofer. No wonder it sounded like it was distorting a little.

This one has better bass adjustment (rather than crawling into the foot area and adjusting the base), I can do it from the small speaker controls.

I'm getting cabin fever, like most of you at this time of the winter.

Looks like only 91 days to go before the Spring Mill gathering.

Seems like a long time,, but it will go fast.

24 sites filled, we're filling up the circle pretty quick and the 2 ends are coming closer to each other. We'll meet in the middle

Make sure you ask Bob Henry to bring his projector screen that we used at the Winter Shiveree. It was a white terry cloth towel, I believe. Much to everyone's surprise, it worked just fine despite being far from a smooth surface.
