This is just a suggestion. Is the idea for a breakfast to be able to sample all kinds of different waffle recipes? Maybe everyone that wants to participate makes some at home and freezes them. Makes several copies of their recipe and a few people bring toasters to warm them for breakfast. My wife makes some real good waffles and always makes a double batch. She just slightly under cooks those that will be frozen. Lets them cool on a rack and then freezes them individually. Then I just put them in the toaster oven. I like them better that way then right out of the waffle iron. They stay nice and crisp. I know it's not camp cooking but you can easily sample lots of different versions with out alot of mess and taking up the whole morning.

I think it is for different recipes and I think a lot of them have the dutch oven style waffle makers and like to use them.

I'll bring a toaster and ....

Man I would love to make a waffle that looks like this one.

I'll try making waffles but so far I have had little luck. I might be using the same recipe as elmo

Hi all,

Picking up my tear drop in the end of March in Ohio (Pleasant Valley) and after a short shake down cruise can be found at site #105 (electric, may still have ice on lake).

Welcome...again! I saw your post on the "newbies" thread. We can be a pretty wild, but fairly harmless bunch at our gatherings.

We'll keep our fingers crossed that the snow and ice are GONE by the end of April....(thinking positive thoughts while contemplating the next snowstorm which is due to hit tomorrow....) :worship:

Well, Tom's site is right next to ours, so we'll keep an eye (and a short leash) on him....

We'll keep Tom off our snow pile on site 20, so we don't have any slip and fall issues.

Question for someone familiar with this campground.

Postby capsu78 » Wed Feb 27, 2008 2:32 pm

Question for someone familiar with this campground.

I am trying to reserve a campsite, and we have invited my daughter and SIL to come along with their small tent set up.
Any reason 4 people, 2 cars, a tent and a teardrop can't share one campsite or should I look at 2 side by side?

I wouldn't think there would be a issue with that!!

It shouldn't be a problem...they allow up to 6 "unrelated" people per site or a family....also, 2 vehicles per site is allowed...and a teardrop and tent are okay...we do that and have never had a problem.
