Look out Verna's cookin' :frightened:

Looks like everyone has the meat issues covered so instead of my planned monster meatloaf I think I'll do real baked beans in the cast iron and a couple loaves of yeast bread in the Dutch ovens.Image

Dan, thanks for bring up the subject.

I'll try something in my new "Can Cooker" or a "Garlic/Lemon Chicken with red potatoes and green beans" in the "DO"

I'll also start a list of the menu items so we will know what to expect. I always love the "pitch-in" dinners.

Hey, Bob, that's why I stick with what worked before  If I got you to eat it once, hopefully you'll like it again  If nothing else, I'll have some leftovers for my 4-week trip out West :wine:

We are thinking bout smoked brisket chili again. It went like wildfire at CRA! Maybe a side or two and some desert cake.
Also thinking about a Bloody Mary bar Friday night? Don't know how many Bloody Mary drinkers we have, but Danno likes them! :D

The "Bloody Mary" bar on Friday sound like a great idea and a nice addition to the Wine & Cheese. If a blender is available, maybe some frozen Margaritas would be in order.

I'll chip in for whatever you need. It would "spice things" up a bit and would be a perfect addition to the fun. :wine:

It is looking like the proteins will be well represented and we always seem to have plenty of desserts, so I'll plan to bring a large salad and maybe another vegetable. --Sharon

I think it may just be me and Lanee, my 4 year old. I think I'll keep the menu simple. Put me down for homemade macaroni salad.

Just a note to all the Hoosier campers, Last year at the CRA, my wife sold Usborn Children's books with the proceeds going to St Jude Children's Hospital. She was able to send around $75 worth of books to the hospital in the name of the Tearjerkers group.
If there aren't any objections, she would like to do the same at the Spring get-together. She will put a display at our campsite, no pressure, no hard sell. Monetary donations for books would also be welcomed.
The folks at St Jude were very excited to get their books.
Thanks,
Joe Hanson
