Stacie,
My sister and brother-in-law didn't reserve a site until much later in 2013 and got a site. There shouldn't be a problem getting a site. I am coming early this time because I am retired this year. I am going to try and get in as much camping as I can this summer. As I said previously, I was only able to stay one night in 2013 because of work, so this time I will be able to see more of the folks from all over. :-)

I mixed up the color coding. :? That's good news. Will stay up till midnight then and see what happens.

Also edited my last comment to create less confusion.

the time is 12:00 pm (Twelve noon not midnight), Can't wait myself. It will be good to see old friends and make some new ones>

Thank you for that need to know tip Tim! I'm not usually up at midnight so you just saved me some sleep!

And thanks for the reassurance Marty that I will get a space and advice from Rob to come early if possible. Would love to be there for at least the entire event after arriving late at the IRG last year. Definitely not enough time to see everything and definitely not enough time to meet everyone. Am going to try to come a day early. Will keep you posted.

And thanks for adding in that I wasn't the only one panicking the other day Liz. Glad it was easy to straighten out so that I didn't have an ulcer stressing out about it by midweek

I know how to make sure there are spaces - I'll announce I'm bringing my 1000 song collection of 12" classic laser karaoke disks and setting it up every night at my campsite. "all my ex's live in Texas--" ;)
(yes, I have 'em)
added: when the raccoons hear me sing, they will skedaddle for the next county!

I also posted this over in Tearjerkers: I've reserved site #121 arriving on Tue. 7/21

Some hints for making your reservation:
- You'll need a ReserveAmerica account even though it looks like you're on an Indiana state website
- At midnight I could see the map of available sites but it wouldn't allow me to reserve one until the following noon. Go figure...

We decided to come in on Tuesday and have reserved site 57. I hope it wasn't someone's favorite site. It's a little hard to know what to reserve when you haven't been to the park before. I am looking forward to meeting people and seeing a lot of trailers.

Well...I guess I'll have to bring my bear bell. Better luck next time.

No bears in Indiana, but.....there have been reports of a mountain lion, but DNR has not confirmed its existence. Now those raccoons are very much not intimidated by humans.
