Dianne,

Last I looked site 087 was still available before the park stopped this weeks registration on line. It is in the second loop, but it is 20 feet from the middle of our gathering and you would certainly feel like you were part of us. Otherwise 01 was also available and that would put you on one end of the group. Good luck with your site search and it's great to hear that you will be able to come and not have worries about what you still have to get done at home.

See you tomorrow.

Gary

Gary, don't forget to remind us about how much each of us should contribute toward the cost of the shelter. We don't want anyone getting stuck with a bill! Also the firewood for the shelter--not sure how that's handled.

Also, yay, Dianne's coming!

Thanks for the reminder Pat. The shelter cost $100 and with 16 trailers for sure and possibly 17 the shared cost is somewhere between $5.88 to $6.25.

As to wood, Sheboygan area participants have brought the majority of the wood in the past, and we thank them, but we should not plan on that happenning every year. I certainly plan on buy a bundle or two if wood is needed but I would suggest we all wait until we have set up camp and find out what this years wood supply is like.

The following is the list of who is expected at this year's event. We have not heard lately from 2Kirks on site 8 which is our only question mark.

4 Sue and Carol (flygal6)
6 Gary and Cheri also Finnegan
7 Pat and Mark (Tearhead)
8 2Kirks (?)
9 Mike (Route66)
10 Steve (Woodbutcher)
11 Glenn and Opal
12 Tom and Char
13 Doug and Nan (Pigcooker)
14 Russ (Tom’s Brother) and Pat
15 Kevon and Annette (Outtahand)
17 Tom (Ptomaine)
19 BrwBier
22 Grant & Diane (gdpipkorn)
32 Dan Galvin
34 Dennis and Cheryl (DWE)
? Dianne and Luke

Also after todays health announcement about eating blueberries and their benefit for memory I will be making a DO blueberry cheese cake in addition to the bread I'm baking for the saturday evening meal. Now....... where ...........were ............we?

I just wanted to re-iterate, if 2kirks wants my campsite 8 he can have it. I'm definitely not going to make it so site 8 is open. I hope to meet you all next time. :)

*edited to add, I also PM'd 2kirks and made my intention clear-that he is welcome to my site, I have not taken any action through reserve-america to cancel or refund my site, so it's still showing as unavailable, but I do stress, it will be not occupied by me. Hopefully 2kirks can go.

Again, I am sorry for not attending, and hope to meet you all at another gathering. :)

According to "Gas Buddy" the price of regular gas in Sheboygan is currently $3.84. Hope that can save some of our longer drivers a few bucks.

It's sunny here in Southern WI too right now. We are headed up there in a few hours and we plan to jam as much of this sunshine as we can into the Little Tow to take it along!

The forecast as of a half hour ago puts a 40% chance of rain for tomorrow. 20% on Sunday. Temps both days in mid-to-upper 40's but, say it with me:
"COOLER NEAR THE LAKE"

:D

See you all in a few hours! Drive safely!!!

Hey all,

I seem to recall an open spot in the appetizer section of the menu planning list. mark us down for some appetizers. We can hang around for the early part of dinner but then probably have to get Before too late. Looking forward to meeting you all and seeing your handiwork.

Tim, just in case you would like to stay, there is a very nice hotel about 1 mile from the park.

I got a message from Happy Phantom. I will be taking her spot, site #8. She asked that I post to the board if I would take it.
See you all soon - I am done with work in 4 minutes. 1500 starts my weekend!
