Last I heard from him was around February 18 when he sent me the graphics for T-shirts. Which, by the way Duke, I finally got around to checking on the pricing...but I won't know until Thursday, as our guy is out of town.

Are you thawing out in the great state of Wisconsin?

The weather here is beautiful - sunny :applause: and 49 degrees.

You should be on the up wind side of the lake where it's warm. We had 53 yesterday and 51 today.

Yeah!! Our snow pile is melting on site 20 with the heat wave on west side of the big pond.

Maybe, we can strike oil to make our own gas or eat more beans to keep the gasoline prices less than $4.00 a gallon. It looks like this will be our only long distance trip this year with gas prices going up & Up & UP!

I think there's going to a lot of people sticking close to home this year. I postponed my trip to the Blue Ridge.....again. Maybe next year will be better. NOT!!! Oh well, WI has many beautiful State parks that I haven't seen yet and northern IL is just 9 miles from my house. Guess I'll be getting plenty of use out of my annual sticker this year.
I do hope you guys can make it to Camp-Inn's annual event though.

I still had to brush snow off the trailer today, when will it stop.

Is there some kind of stop the snow and welcome spring dance we can all
do ?

I still have a lot of work to do and I'm waiting for the magical 55 degrees from the back of the varnish can, that says I can move forward on this fun project. Come on spring!!

The waiting will make the camping so much sweeter  at least that what I keep telling myself. It snowed here today too.

Anxiously awaiting warmer weather and camping  to visit with everyone. Just heard the weather report for us and yes  they are predicting more snow thursday and friday! Is it ever going to end?

Just wanted to let everyone know we posted a campout for September 5 on the forum called Tears by the River. If anyone wants to join us for the weekend check it out, as the sites fill up fast.

sorry I have not been able to keep up to date with what has been going onwith cbtl but i was sidelined with a serious health issue for the last month took the family to las vegas in late february for a week to get away from the snow and when we got back I had a TIA or ministroke in the airport the ER docs say a TIA but my neurologist says a CVA a full blown stroke paralyed my left side and could not speak very scary spent 4 days in hosp and then recovering at home Today was my third day back at work full time This was my second event had a TIA nine years ago thankfully the docs said the lowdose aspirin and anti clotting drugs I have been on since then helped it from being worse no answers as to why it is happening except that clots are forming somewhere in my body and breaking loose all arterys are clear and BP is low so it is a mystery to them my sister is an RN and she read my charts and says I have extremely high clotting factors in blood so they really have me pumped full of anticlotting drugs and blood thinners will still be coming to CBTl but in a tent have not worked on tear the last month

Duke,

Wow! Really glad to hear you are doing okay. I was getting concerned when I hadn't heard from you...now I know I had reason to be!

Take it easy and do what they tell you! And don't worry about CNTL...we just want you to take it easy and enjoy it...we'll do all the work!

Welcome back Duke,
Nice to see you back, We did miss you, and don't worry about a thing , we have 30 other campers to help take care of the gathering. I hope you bring your metal detector though I would love a lesson in metal detecting. It's something I've always wanted to try.
If you need a site closer to things you can always pitch your tent on my site #14. it's the handicapped site closer to the bathrooms and the shelter and it might make things easier for you. I don't mind sharing the site. We'll see you in a few weeks!!
