This sounds like a challenge. I must warn you, I'm something of a movie buff, but if it is pre 1965 I could be in trouble. I'll most likely have a problem with the original book name and author, but we'll see.

Don't make it too easy. Ready for the first hint....

The movie is based on a book. The first movie was made in 1960, but based on a book written nearly 75 years earlier.

There have been two movies made about the story in the "well" written book.
