Here is a picture that I took today. It is a brighter day and I took it from a bluff in Sheboygan. You can really see the ice. They said that the lake is 92% covered in ice.

All ice as far as you can see.

Took a drive to Kohler Andrae State Park today. Still lots of snow and ice.

It looks like you are down by the lake looking back at the campground up in the trees. Is that the opening where the shelter is behind the car?

Took me awhile to post these pics. Anyways, yes I was on the beach when I took most of the photos. The last photo is my campsite for "Cooler Near the Lake" site 34.

To answer your question, I first read this topic in the forum ......viewtopic.php?f=26&t=49037
After I uploaded my photos to my personal album following the forum instructions, I did not like to 640x640 picture size. All my photos were stamp size that nobody could really appreciate.

SO I tried this.....Open a Flicker or Photobucket account, upload your photos by reading and more reading. First the photos were loaded from my phone to my computer. Then I clicked on which photo I want to upload. For Flicker - Click the square box with the curvy arrow on the bottom right of your screen. Select "Grab the HTML/BBCode" select Medium 800x600, select BBC code. Now copy and paste all the code within the window box if you are using Windows OS. Next switch to your forum, post reply, click the URL tab above the post and now (CNTL V) paste the code between the URL brackets. I then had to clean up some of the extra Flicker code and posted. It sounds really complicated, but even I figured it out by practice and error. Just re-edit you post if the photo does not post. :?

I will just post the URL as I did. It is much simpler.

Thanks for the Newbie invite to stop by the event and look and some tears... It will definitely help my design ideas... Hope I'm allowed to take pictures!

35 days to go before we meet at the eighth "Cooler".

Pat has started a food thread so that our meals will be organized. It can be found here; viewtopic.php?f=1&t=59251

Check out the suggestions and see what you can do to help this be the best gathering ever.

Sure has been quiet the past week on this forum. I bet the next 35 days will fly by and before you know it, we'll be camping. This past weekend I did some work on the camper since the temp was above 32 degrees. This coming weekend I might even start loading all the pots and pans, dishes, grilling stuff, etc. Plus, last week I purchased a rocket stove. Search google for the meaning. Basically, it's a cooking device that only uses sticks to cook food. Does anybody else use them to cook while camping? Now is the time to start planning some meals.

I've been busy the past two weeks as it has warmed up a bit, since it's been too cold all winter in the garage to work on my Silver Shadow. So, with only 35 days before the Cooler by the Lake VIII......

I removed a shelf above the right side of the counter so I could move the microwave there. I need to move the electrical outlet on that side of the counter.

I replaced the questionable 35ah AGM battery with a new 100 ah AGM battery (boy, is that thing heavy!!).

I removed the small sink from the countertop, and now I'm working on some "wood art" to put in the 9" hole in the countertop.

I have to build a drawer for the area under where the sink was, and I can use the fake drawer front as a real drawer front. I'm looking forward to the extra storage room.

The spare tire is now mounted on the tongue. I'll get some room back inside the Escape.

Whew....but, it's fun for it to be warm enough to do some work on the teardrop. Now to finish it before it gets cold again.

Both items in my avatar picture are 125 miles away safe from all the bad things winter puts out and in my other garage. Been waiting for a good rain storm to get rid of all the salt before I bring them down to south east Wisconsin. Got things I would like to do before the season starts. Can't wait to see all of you again.

I see some of the camping sites around us are filling up.
