I looked at loop B and its untouched so far. Not a single reservation. I''m curious what the site manager thinks when he/she/it gets the daily report for recent reservations...loop A and over 50%....weird.

In 2011 we had something like 147 trailers, so that would have put about 20 in loop B. I think only after A filled up did B become an overflow area.

Gerry, I haven't contacted the park about the CRA gathering. They are probably wondering "what the Heck" is going on...

I will make contact with them as time goes by so we can coordinate things for the July event.

Loop "A" will fill up first and Loop "B" will be the "overflow" area.

In 2011, I bought up the sites ( about $9500 worth) and then, during the registration process, the sites were purchased back from me. This worked well and we had control of large blocks of sites. The only "non tearjerker" site was #118. Boy were they surprised.

The only problem was that it became a "full time" job handling all of the reservations plus everything else that the organizing group worked on. The old reservation system was a real nightmare and was shut down for an upgrade From December 2010 until mid-January 2011.

The new reservation system has been upgraded so that the 2013 gathering reservations can be made by the campers. As long as everyone is paying attention, it will all work out.

During my recovery period (from heart surgery in late April 2011) it became a big challenge to keep "all the wheels on the ground" but we ( as a group) made it work. This year we decided to make it a lot less time consuming and let the campers reserve their own sites.

Any way, it appears to be going well and those who are really "on the ball" will get sites for the CRA 2013.

Mark, I cooked up some Waffles for my Grand kids this weekend. They love waffles and they are fun to make (and eat). After I screw up the first batch, the rest seem to come out fine.

We need a few more entries to the "Waffle Feast" on Saturday. Cliff's Waffle Dog iron is going to be hard to beat. Nothing better that "Waffles and Dogs" in the morning.


Don't forget the other "Challenges" at the gathering . There is cash being paid for (at least) one of them.

Randy and Martha Gilbert have site 90 and are looking forward to seeing every one. Arriving on Fri Morning leaving Sun for 3 weeks of camping out west. Hoping to see as many national parks and other interesting places as we can.
