Scott it's looking great. Looks like all you need is doors and you are good to go. Can't wait to see it.

Looking good Scott. I like the track lighting in the galley. I don't think I've seen that before.

I ordered our t-shirts this morning. I'm thinking about the stein too. I don't have a collection but this might be a good time to start.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It does help

I tossed around what I wanted in the galley I couldn't find recessed that would fit in the space I got those at a real good deal and I can adjust them in any direction.
Stu I don't have a collection of all steins just a couple But I've got some Pilsners also all from travels so it will go good.

Scott, don't feel like you need to have it finished, just get it to a point that you can camp in it. You can refine it later and we will all enjoy the progress at a later date.
The basics: coolers, cooling (or heating), and cooking. Aside from that the details will come later.

You can still have fun without the "final" product.

I've been working on mine for 5 years and enjoying each camping outing.

I'll try to remember my Stein (German- 1898) to share some"Pils". :applause:

Scott, my first outing was for a Mustang (car) show that started in Madison indiana. I camped at the city camp ground (which is really nice and right on the Ohio River). I arrived on Thursday, one day early, and it rained like crazy. I had no canopy and no umbrella; my hatch doesn't provide any protection from rain. What a mess, but I enjoyed it just the same. It rained and the temp went down near freezing at night.

I still forget some essentials but usually bring most of my listed items.
Umbrellas and rain gear are always good even if the forecast is clear.

Camping is (supposed to be) surviving on limited resources and making do. It really is that way. You can make it as primitive as you want, but the flush toilets and showers take the "primitive" edge off the experience.

The neat part is meeting and socializing with (internet) friends. These relationships grow after the first meeting and become strong friendships in many cases.

Imagine the pioneers, crossing the counrty in their "teardrop" covered wagons.
The feeling must have been similar in the short term.

I'm really excited about Turkey Run and hope that everyone has a safe trip.

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

Curtains done, vent fan installed, dishes and cookware purchased. Now if I could only remember what I did with the keys?!

Dan, It's looking pretty good! TURKEY RUN should be one of the biggest Gatherings in the mid west so far.
It's great to see the new teardrops that will show up at the gathering.
New friends and new ideas for the next teardrop build.
