Cooler Near The Lake II

Last year no one went away hungry and if they did, well, as my dad would say "If you go away hungry, it's your own fault." We had more than enough to satisfy everyone's tastes.

However, I will start a new thread on food for CNTL II and as people post, I will add it to the "master list." That way people will have an idea of what others are bringing. I will split my post into 2 parts:

1) Breakfast Saturday morning (as in who is making waffles and who is bringing "the trimmings" to go with waffles)

2) Saturday evening's potluck

Depending on what we get for a response to the waffle question will probably determine if we do a "group" waffle breakfast.

Hey! Does anyone have a phone # for Duke? We had both been checking on prices for T-shirts for CNTL II and the last email I got from him was the end of March. I've emailed again but haven't heard back and the timing on ordering the shirts is getting a little tight. I don't mind taking orders and placing the order but don't want to do it if he is already taking care of it.

With his recent health concerns, I'm hoping he is okay and that my not hearing from him is due to him being busy trying to catch up on stuff.

Please PM me if you have any contact info on him.

Thanks!

Betsey, I would think that since he has not put out any info concerning Tshirts for people to respond to that he is not going to at this point. I too hope all is well with Duke.

I think it is safe to say for all who would want a shirt that if you are willing to organize things we would be grateful. Especially if they are of the quality of the Camp Outt Tshirts. A price and a last avaliable order date and how you want to handle money and distribution would be helpful. I for one would like to order a Tshirt.

I had made 50 complimentary gathering button with the CNTL2 logo to share with all who attend.

Alrighty, I'm going to go ahead and post info for anyone who would like to order a t-shirt for the CNTL II. The color and graphics were the ones Duke had sent me early on.

Shirts will be ash (light gray) in color
Small front pocket logo of the CNTL logo (as shown below)
Large back graphic “Happiness is just a teardrop away.”
These are heavy weight, 50/50 cotton/poly blend
Cost (approximately) $8.50-9.00 for S-XL; $10.50-11.00 for XXL and up.

Final cost will depend on how many are ordered but the higher price is pretty close to the maximum ($9.00 & $11.00).

If you want a t-shirt, PM me or post on this thread the following:

Size you want
# of each

When I have received your order request, I will email you back to make sure I have the correct info.

I must have your order NO LATER THAN THIS THURSDAY EVENING (April 10) in order to be sure to have the shirts by CNTL. Once I put in the initial order, I may be able to add to it but I cannot guarantee it.

I am sorry for the very short notice, but due to unforeseeable circumstances, we don’t have much time.

Payment will be due to me at CNTL.

Let the fun begin!

I talked with the t-shirt guy today and t-shirts are a go! :woohoo:

Thanks to everyone for getting back to me so quickly. According to my Outbox, the following people have not yet received/opened the email I sent them about the t-shirts. If any of you CNTL attendees have another way of contacting any of them (besides PM on the forum) please do so and pass along the t-shirt info and tell them to email me so I can include them in the order.

Hi everyone......thawing out from the winter. Actually been real busy getting ready and trying to relocate permanently to Appleton Wisconsin to live. Trying and I repeat trying to get my house sold. A dozen showings but no offers. Running back and forth with job interviews and house hunting. The great thing is the camping trip is still a go!
I am planning to bring the R, L, CTR game and also my (as mentioned earlier) cheap plastic bean bag "corn hole" game. At least its quite portable and ready for action.
Can't wait for our getogether and meeting everyone. Let the games and the food begin!

Looks like I have another attendee to the gathering. One of my customers just picked up their new 560 today. They told me that they reserved a spot at the gathering some time back and just never mentioned it. Their names are Michael and Theresa Bovee along with little Sophia. They are on site 102 so Mike Olsen will have a neighbor then, he was happy to hear that.

They are from the Madison WI area. Those who attend our gathering at Castle Rock lake might remember them because they attend and hang out getting ideas on what to order.

Depending on weather and etc... our site may open up for last minute users.

If it's raining or whatever we may bunk with the in-laws in their monster fifth wheeler. 8)

Is there another update on the snow situation yet? I might be sleeping in my truck instead of in the tent this trip. The snow is not the stuff that bothers me...it is the wet muddy ground. :(
I think my tent is going to sink into the ground.
I will just go sleep in the pavilion then  ...we rented in for Saturday, right?

I checked on the snow on Sunday, sadly the pile of snow I promised on each site is disappearing fast. You might have to bring your own ice anyway. Unless you walk over to the parking lot, the ice will be there for a month or more yet. Each site has a paved drive, you will not sink in that, and with it being a sandy area most of the sites will be mostly dry. Any way I hear that their is a sleep over planned in some 5th wheel.
