O.K. done or not we will be there. Like you said chubby can be a backup.

For Bob and everyone interested, so I can keep my ducks in a row.
Who's planning on Sat night and or Sunday. I'll need to let the campground know how many to hold in the next couple days right now he's sitting on 8 sites so I don't want to wait to long.
If everyone would just rather we can meet on Sunday.

Let me know. Thank You

And by the way only a month till Chain O Lakes :dancing Image

Scott, I won't know until it gets here. I will be on vacation next week and don't know where I will land yet. I may be making another trip to the Mitten State. It all depends on when I go, where I go, and when I get back.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

Time to think about a menu for Chain of Lakes "Pitch-in" dinner.

Kurt - Sausage/chicken Gumbo (over rice) and Carribean Red Beans and Rice.

Post what you would like to bring and I'll keep a running list of menu items..

Friday night we will have a "wine and Cheese" get together (on site #70) where we can meet each other.
This is a voluntary party but if you plan to attend just bring a bottle of wine (or two) and a "finger food" to serve between wines.
Kraft beers are always welcome as well so bring your favorite for the enjoyment of all. :applause:

Love it :applause: went and registered for the parade today we're all set.

Little news:

Everyone cross your fingers, if you haven't heard If Indiana doesn't pass a budget by Midnight tonight Our man Mitch  ( just one family's opinion) is shutting down all non essential government functions. Which includes things like BMV, casinos, horse tracks,
State Parks. Even my position and I work at a prison will be off until further notice. I'll know come midnight.

So lets hope this comes to an end quick and doesn't mess with our gathering. :(

Maybe, if we try real hard, we could get a Bail Out from Washington. (with our own money)

What is the latest date that we can confirm? I won't know until the last minute. Got some work to clear.

Hello ParTaxer, not sure we've met.

Confirm for the parade or Chain O Lakes? Hard to say since I hyjacked our own thread for 2 different topics

Parade- I've got 8 sites held and 4 of them filled should be no trouble getting one up until a few days before. this weekend I'll call them and tell them the count but I don't look for them to book so you'll be OK.
If you just want to come on sunday for the parade there is no deadline we'll just be meeting there a little before 1 on Sunday.

Chain O Lakes- you can book your site all the way up until that day. the more the marrier.

Hope That helps.
