Correct me if I am wrong but Spring 08 at Brown County was a very unofficial 32 units.
and I am guessing that was the biggest for just the Hoosier chapter

I know the summer 09 Chain o Lakes event was the biggest it just had to be.

Did anyone even attempt to get a trailer count at Chain O lakes ?

The spring one always seems to be the best attended. The weather is mild and everyone wants to cure their cabin fever by getting out and stretching their legs a bit.

And with 51 days to go we will have a record breaking turn out.

Think we'll make it or at least she will she went from a 20/800 to 20/20 eyesight she had her final check up today and was released.

I on the other hand might have to be put down. Looks like I've got a ruptured disc and the one below that is all but gone.
I start therapy this/next week 3 times a week for 3 weeks to see if it helps the disc go back into it's normal place. Then the doctor says when that doesn't work I'll come back and talk to him about surgery, he seems to think it's pretty bad. but I feel much better than I did 2 weeks ago so I think I'm mending.

OK on to more fun things, update on the koozies

And short and sweet for those attending in May and get them in person $1.50 Won't our favorite beverages look good in them

Scott,

For what it is worth. I don't know who or what your doctor is, and I am not trying to tell you what to do. However, Cindi's advice to anyone she talks to (she's a Physical Therapist in case you don't remember) is that if you are going to have surgery on your back (spine) have it done by a neurosurgeon. She says she would not let an orthopod anywhere near her spinal cord. Just some food for thought.

Orthopod is slang for orthopedic surgeon.

That is not a put down on orthopedic docs. Cindi had her hip replaced in July and the doc did a fantastic job. She is just very cautious when it comes to spinal cords.

Learn something new every day

Don't plan to hurry in to anything to fast, So I guess if he's a neurosurgeon he might know what he's talking about. We'll see how therapy goes

I'm sure he does. While we complain about the cost of health care in this country we have the best doctors and health care professionals available anywhere.

Cindi's doc said the same thing about her hip. "When the pain gets really bad you will be back and we can fix it." She's like a new woman. 8) Hmmmm  what I mean is, well she can walk better.

That's to funny that's exactly what he said they must learn that in school.

I have full faith in our medicine if they can fix my wifes eyes in out patient office. She got new lenses and the cataracts removed. To me that sounds worse than any surgery.

I think what I've done is called hijacking a thread.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming. :MLAS

Scott, I had a ruptured disc (still do) but fortunately I was advised to have surgery only as a last resort.

I had a major "attack" at Spring Mill about four years ago. It wasn't fun but after my MRI the doctors decided to treat it by physical means rather than surgery.
I had it come back again about a year ago and I was prescribed an anti inflamitory drug (usually used for arthritis patients.) It seemed to help a lot.

I had leg cramping (right side only) so I'm sure it wasn't "old age" since the other side felt fine.

Hopefully we (you or me) won't have any "attacks" at this years Spring Mill gathering.

Good luck with the MRI.

There, now the thread has been offically "Hijacked"

Bob, I remember the total count being 42 teardrops plus other trailers too.
