So sad (for me): There's a work thing I can't get out of, so I won't be arriving until Friday afternoon. I had wanted to be there Thursday. Oh well.

See everyone then!

Sherry, I'll have my chair warmed up and be reading a book when you pull in so bring your book and chair on over.

Shelter is rented for Friday and it is probably a good thing we did this as I was informed that we now have another new park superintendent and the hired help while aware of the graciousness of past superintendents is not sure how this one will handle early use of the shelter. At least nobody had beat us to having it on Friday. Shared cost should be about $10 per trailer to cover the shelter and name tag buttons which I think came out nicely.

Packing the car today, can't wait to camp again.

Stop by my site and pick up your ID button when you get a chance. I have made one for each person who provided their first name. Hope this will help everyone get to know each other faster.

Great idea Gary - I for one am horrible at remembering names - great with faces, but names not so much!

To anyone arriving on Thursday. If you would like any suggestions on sampling some of Sheboygan, just ask. I know where the best beer is found and where some is made. I also know some of the restaurants that say this is Sheboygan.
See you all this weekend

Cheri and I are planning on arriving before 2:00 on Thursday. As been noted in a previous post we certainly enjoyed going out to taste the local cuisine for supper on a Thursday last year and we would like to continue doing so. If anyone would like to join us we will depart from the campgrounds at 6:00. All are welcome to come along or meet us at a to be determined restaurant.

Congratulations to Doug and Nan plus Betsey and Craig for your up coming celebrations. :wine:

I may be without a teardrop yet, but as a local, I plan on stopping by the CNTL and taking a look at whoever will show me their tear... I'm looking for ideas and if you'll allow, I'd like to do some photos as well. I even bring the plans I'm developing on my laptop if anyone is interested.

Sounds like Saturday is the day to come.

Now for the important part. . . Ask for Sprecher, Lakefront Brewery, New Glarus or Capitol Brewing in the beer department and seek our Johnsonvilles, Usingers or any local for the Bratwurst!

Weather is supposed to be a bit chilly, so bring an extra layer. Temps in the 40's More sun on Sat than Sun... But remember, you're gonna be next to the country's largest Air Conditioner so beware the easterly wind!

Can't wait to see y'all!

ON WISCONSIN!

Jenn we always like to show off our tears especially to people who may become a new camping buddy. See our food thread and bring something to eat and spend some time with us.

Doug in the back of my mind I had been thinking about that burger joint that is right down in the harbor. The one we went to last year. The view was fantastic and it had plenty of seating. Having said that I am open to any suggestions. Wisconsin Foodie (PBS show) did a show on eating in the area and I got real hungry so I know there are plenty more places that the locals can point us to. Bob, Dennis, Cheryl, others ??????
