I wasn't very good at taking pictures then, nor did I take pictures of where the flies really were... out in the parking lot, eating all the road kill on our windshields...
When I go back up I'll try to get better pictures...

You'll notice I did go to Paradise and the beach there as well. And if you zoom in on the Whitefish Pt photos you'll see the flies that are so abundant there.
I have lots to learn about the UP though...
