There is no verbal explative that will express the caress of a toilet seat at zero degrees on a posterior just released from 3 layers of nice warm clothing.

 Isn't it the truth

WOW I can't believe I haven't seen this thread which means I haven't been in here for two weeks. Having to come from Leo, which is north of Fort Wayne, my vote would be for Mounds as it is pretty much in the center of the state. Well it's a bit north of center but it should be fairly easy for everyone in Indiana to get to.

So has the choice been made yet? The more I think about it the more I warm up to the idea!

Maybe Ouabache in July/August. Might even be a good one for the "Hoosier/Buckeye" gathering. There are 77 sites. That should be plenty of caming for the two groups.

Maybe Versailles in the fall.

Just some thoughts.

Going south in the fall would be OK as long as it is not as hot as it was in 2007. October 2007 was hotter than it was in Madison in August. Whew!

But I have confidence. Kurt will fix the weather.

We'll have to get him to pull some of his magic for the Jan gathering.
Do we want it warmer, snow, cold, no snow.

I'm gonna go up and check out Mounds Saturday. I called today they have winter camping $11, no reservations, electric and a 1 hydrant that has water in the winter.

Weather wise it should be cold, cold cold. :snowstorm: Snow is good as long as we can get there and the roads aren't bad. We just don't want rain. Kurt are you listening? :worship:

If it snows I wonder if they clean off the pads to put the trailers on. My guess is they clean the roads in the park but not the campsites.

No guarantees, but I don't think you'll see any "rain".
