Boys in school we can't do Thursday night. It will be late afternoon Friday.

I'm sure we'll be doing the Thursday night of the summer one, with kids out of school it will be a lot easier.

Only 11 days  Image

I'd rather see your forecast than a sunny one (for right now). If they are wrong-- we're in luck. We need some luck after last year

That's for sure, it always seems to swing the other way.
I really think we'll have a good weekend.

I'm bringing some tarps for the side of my easy up just in case though.
I'm so ready I really don't care what it does.

Scott, I know what you mean. Except for snow and hail; we've seen it all and still had a great time. :applause:

I'm ready too.

I'm making a new recipie in the Dutch oven today. I'm cooking baby back ribs in the DO along with some BBQ sauce, liquid smoke, onions potatoes, and garlic.
I've tried this before using a (cream of mushroom) soup in the DO and the ribs were really good.

I'm going for more of a BBQ flavor today.

It's really fun experimenting with food since it's all eaten even if it's not perfect.

We are gonna have to take up a collection for a heated snowmobile suit for you Kurt. You missed out on the freezing ice pellets and the monster snow flakes at the 09 Shivaree, THEN you would have seen it all ! :rofl2:

Dan, sounds like you're ready to "party". I'll go for relaxing around the campfire and mabe a card game (or a board game) on Thursday night.

We could also have a "pre-gathering" dinner if you'd like. OR we could sit around and sip some of your fine wine.

Let's play it by ear so it's a "spontaneous" thing. I hate to make plans because good times just seem to happen on the spur of the moment.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.
