Woke up to snow about 1" deep this morning - thick, wet, coming down hard. Decided not to venture out. Of course, by 11:00 the snow had stopped and by noon it had pretty much melted. From the look of the radar, though, there will be a whole lot more by the time I wake up tomorrow morning! Glad I don't have to work tomorrow.

Every year, during march madness this happens. Knowing that doesn't make it any easier to deal with

I'll be transporting the Seniors to their appointments tomorrow, including my father (his wife doesn't drive in snow and we don't want Daddy to drive any time). If it gets really bad, I just drive my Escape rather than the organization's mini-van.

I have received a few emails asking if there are any campsites left for the "Crossroads of America 2013" gathering.

All of the sites in Loop "A" are filled, however, there are plenty of open sites in Loop "B".

These will fill up fast also, so please, make your reservations as soon as you can for our summer of 2013 gathering.

Verna I'm just the opposite. I work outside everyday and I can dress for the cold weather and when I get hot I can shed clothing but I have a problem dressing for the extremely hot weather. There is only so much I can take off to stay cool.
I just hope this summer will be mild compared to the past several scorchers we had.
