Postby mrchuc » Mon Sep 03, 2007 4:16 pm

Denice and I got our confirmation. We also now have a Little Guy 4-Wide to camp in! :D

I put some pics in our album. We went shopping today for some gear. That was fun!

Nope! And now I can hardly wait for the gathering in Oct. so we can learn from you experienced campers!

Heh, we still may be tent camping for that trip! Not enough time with the wedding and everything.

Your Little Guy looks good! let me guess you're a Rams fan. :applause:
As far as learning about TD camping I would say the biggest challenge is defining the stuff you need and leaving the rest at home.

Looking forward to meeting you and all the others.

 Nope, but there is a story about that. My wife does not like football at all and so pays no attention to it. Therefore, when she chose the colors she did not realize she was picking Rams' colors. She is the artist in the family and I have no color sense at all, so I paid little attention to the color choices. I was more interested in the 12 volt wiring, gas mileage of the tow vehicle, etc. When I picked up the TD, however, I noticed immediately that it would be perfect for tailgating at a Rams game. :laughter:
I had the good sense, to wait a day or so before I pointed that out. Denice still likes the Little Guy anyway. :phew:
 Hmmm....I wonder if I can make a few bucks renting the Little Guy out to Rams fans?

Got mine too....can't wait to meet all the locals soon. I'm off to Milford, MI for a Tin Can Tourist gathering 15-17 Sept. Should be fun! I will be by myself in Oct. Diane can't make it . Hey Rick you need some help finishing that TD! I can help with an extra set of hands...just ask. I know your plate is full.

Carol,
Have fun at the the TinCan rally. I have a big tin can for sale and I am sure you will see an Avion while you are there. Ours is an 86 Avion 30P rear bath with awnings on every window. It has a Hensley Arrow hitch $8500 for just the trailer.

That's fine with Denice and me, but please don't be offended when I say we are vegetarians. We will just bring plenty of veggies to go with the ham. We are really looking forward to meeting everyone (and to having a chance to try out our new TD!)
