The heater I am using has a thermostat built in. Bought it at Target just a couple of weeks ago. There are two controls. One a switch with Off, High, and Low. The other is a dial which adjusts from from Low to High. It cycles itself on and off. It was quite inexpensive (else I wouldn't have bought it), but I don't remember exactly how much. Seems to work great.prohandyman wrote:I'm looking into making or buying a portable thermostat that I can connect to my ceramic heater, so it will cycle on it's own, and I wouldn't have to get up occasionally to turn it off and on.Problem is that the thermo costs alot more than the heater!
Any second thoughts?
