I don't know is on third!

You can count us in for helping with the shelter and we'll order tshirts also.
We don't have an iron but I'm willing to stop by the local Dutch Windmill to see if they have any special mixes to use.
Bruce, don't forget to pack your camera to take lots of picture ideas for your teardrop. :snappy:

I got site 27!

Boy, I think this will be the first time EVER that I will be at an electric site.

At least that gives me a place to plug in my electric motorcycle. (No, seriously! Check out Bens electric cycle)

Really looking forward to it. I built my camper going on two years ago now and the only other teardroppers I have met with so far are Parnel and the guys at Camp-Inn.

I will bring my cast aluminum waffler and I think we can get creative on coffee making.

Too bad the teepee was booked - it would have been great for non-teardrop friends to join in.

-Ben Nelson

PS - I just tossed up a few photos of my camper on my .Mac web page here
still no idea what i'm doing...

One of our employees has a real tipi...maybe we can get him to join us. It is really something to watch it being set up and amazing how large, yet cozy it is inside.

Here is a video of the general area where most of us will be camped. It starts out looking at the shelter house and goes clock wise. I am standing on the grassy knoll between sites 4 and 14. The real video is a little better than the you tube version but you get the idea. About the shelter house, I think I can reserve it right at the ranger station. I will do that Saturday. I think it would work out OK if we just made the cost of the camp out at $6 and pay when we get there. It can be adjusted as needed at that time. Any ideas as to how to make the waffle and coffee thing work out?

P.S. If you look close you just might find a keg of beer in the shelter house.
P.P.S. Any Geo Cachers here, their are caches in and near the park.

If that happens, site 87 would be an excellent choice, quite big and right in the middle of everything. The map is a little misleading because the back of site 87 is just across the road from site 9. It is also in view of the parks tepee.

geochacing

Postby Muskrat » Fri Nov 30, 2007 10:12 am

We are geochacers. That is good to hear. We looked for bike trails but didn't find any close by.
We will by happy to contribure to the shelter fund upon arrival.

Yes, to tee shirts, but need more details. No - if Chinese made.

There are some bike trails pretty close to the park, one starts in Sheboygan, right by interstate 43 and goes to the Old Wade House state historical area, about 17 miles. It follows hwy 23. The other trail is quite new, it now starts in Oostburg and goes south along the old interurban rail line towards Milwaukee. I haven't ridden that yet so I'm not sure of the length. I think at least 20 miles and not right beside a highway like the other trail (The old plank road trail).
