My workshop is my driveway and the heat has been off for some time. ll All my last minute upgrades are on hold. Hope it's a come as you are party.
Still got my hat in the ring, blown out knee , crutches and all.

I even think "Old what's her name" is gonna brave it !!!

I have a business meeting in INDY on Friday , Jan 18-19. From there, I'll drive down to Brown County SP to see the frozen campers.

Anyone know the number for "911"? Oh yeah!, we already discussed that.

My plans are to be there about 1pm on Sat 19th.
I'll book Tue after I watch the weather, that's the earliest we can book 1 night. If it stays like this we'll be great.
Really I wouldn't mind the cold it will make for good sleeping weather.

Let us know which campsite. I'd hate to spend half a day wandering around the park--looking for a place to park.

Yeah there's no way I can do 2 nights figure 1 night in the cold is good
wife works Fri anyway, not that she's going but I'd have to get an all night sitter. If it goes good next year I'll probably do 2.
That's why I'm waiting till Tue to book that's the soonest you can book 1 night other wise you have to take it for 2 nights.

Rap I'll watch the weather Tue then book, it will be pretty much were we're at in May. Here's where I was thinking haven't looked latley to see what's open but I don't imagine it's all booked up

We're still up for the shiveree. As long as this weather doesn't turn totally stupid. I'm taking Chubby ( my teardrop not old what's her name) to work this Sat and attempting to install a "tip out" for my little pot belly wood stove. Should be a hoot of a project. Somebody bring a backup fire extinguisher.

We're looking at noonish Sat for arrival and leaving mid afternoon Sunday to get home by dark.

Bob we'll help put you out if needed.

Is Chubby the one with the plexi roof? I can't wait to see that.

Still got my crack from jackkniffing it into the utility bed on my truck but a little ice dam tape is almost as good as duct tape for temporary repairs.

Brrrrrrrrrrr!

Postby Nitroxjunkie71 » Fri Jan 11, 2008 4:58 pm

I would love to come down and join on this trip but I have not yet completed several of the most important projects including power and heat. The extended says 30/18 for Saturday. Fun, fun, fun.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

Power and heat who needs that  just run and extension cord from the power box right to a space heater what more do you need.

But really from Indianapolis that's not bad just come down for the day and visit your more than welcome if you'd like. We'll have a fire going just bring your hot dog stick and join us for a bit If you've got nothing else going.

Have you checked out the gathering list? we have a gathering in Browncounty in May that's growing fast. Won't need heat for that one.

Power/Heat

Postby Nitroxjunkie71 » Fri Jan 11, 2008 5:20 pm

I could do that. I would really like to go; to meet all of you if nothing else. I sure would like to come down though and you are right, it is not that far. We deliver in Bloomington as well as Columbus and I have made the trec across through Nashville. I don't know where the camp ground is but I am sure someone can point me in the right direction. I just picked up my door latch pockets from Northside trailer sales in Carmel so maybe I can get working on that project.
