Look at Thursday night  and I'm coming down a day early.
Guess I'll get to test out the camper in the rain, if it does rain Thursday night I want a real thunder boomer. Of course I'll probably have claw marks in me from the boys

It says scattered thunder showers ya might just get lucky.

Remind me at Madison to tell ya the story about 3+ year olds that are afraid of storm. It's a true story about my daughter and a stormy night.

Attention Madison campers!!!,

There are two admission wristbands from two of our valued campers who have had a change in plans for the Madison weekend.

You all know John and Rose (Spratt) from Indy. Well John advised that they will not be able to make the Madsion gathering due to a health issue.

Therefore, John is offering his (two) wristbands (complete with extra food tickets) to the highest bidder. (retail$20 each)

I hate the fact that John and Rose can't attend, but anyone who needs ("early bird") wrist bands, please speak up now!!

Please post here or "pm" me if you are interested.

Always interesting to how the weather forecasts evolve.

It's looking like a possiblity of rain, but let's all think positively and maybe it will change as the week goes by.

I do like the high temperature though. Below average and "lookin good". :applause:

 I was looking at the schedule for the Ribberfest site then when I hit the printer friendly schedule version it has different times on it
such as the balloon glow is at 8:00 on 1 and 9:30 on the other
the balloon race is at 6:30 am on 1 and 7:15 on the other.

Any Ideas

Scott, I see what you mean. Good news is that the Balloon glow can be seen from the riverfront (festival area) or from the camp ground.

The balloons line up on the south side (Kentucky) of the river across from the festival area and can be seen from the sites where we will be. (site 17 is the best.)

The balloon races are scheduled at different times also (on the printer friendly view) but they are both very early in the morning and then in the evening on Saturday.

You probably won't even see the Saturday morning race (6:30am) since you like to sleep in :coffee: , but the later one should be a good one to watch.

The wind (usually) blows from the west and the balloons will travel toward us (to the east) when they take off from the river front area.

The races are all dependent on the weather and sometimes are not run because of it. Hopefully it will be good for us. :worship:

30 amp adapters,

I purchased (3) adapters from Walmart ($5.27) for anyone who needs one.
These are needed to be able to plug in to the electrical service at Madison using a normal 110v extention cord.

Walmart has them in the camping department. I found mine in the tent, bungy cord and misc. section.
