Hi Kurt,

Are there two 30 Amp plugs in each space's box or just one?

Since we're doubling up...

I've called the campground # several times, but never get an answer.

Rob
Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

Another good question.

Rob, I contacted the manager and he said there is only (one) 30 amp plug per site. He says he had a couple of outlet boxes that he'll let us use so we can hook up multiple connections. I have a multiple outlet also that we can feed two trailers with.

I've got a short splitter also that turns 1 into 3 I'll be sure and bring that also.
I'm also bringing my water splitter because I'm sure there's only 1 hose hookup per sight also.

I have heard no mention of campfires or fire rings. Was planning to bring some wood but we seem to be packed a little tight and would not like to smoke anyone out. Are there fire rings and are the located where we can use them without being a bother to our fellow campers ?????
Growing older but not up !

Kurt can probably answer that better, but he did tell me the allowed fires.
Cause after all what would camping be with out toasted marshmellows.
I've got the bag ready, now if I can just keep the boys out of them.

There are fire rings at the end of each site. The ones I've seen are not portable but who knows what ingenious things we can do.

Lots of free drift wood should still be available, however, the campground usually has wood for sale also.

I'm bring some wood with me.

Kurt, I'm directing this question you're way because you come from North of me.

I googled directions and they take me south down 9 to 74 to Greensburg then south on 421 all the way to Madison. By looking at the map there's a few way's you can take South. Are any better or worse than others?

What time are you headed South?

Scott, that's the way I go also. 421 has several turns in Greensburg and Versailles but it seems to be the most direct route.

My plan is to leave home (Thursday) about 9:00am. That should put me in Greenfield (on #9) between 10:30 and 11:00am.

Teardrop visitors. (more Hoosier Chapter members.)

We will have special visitors (from Bloomington (IN) that are in the stages of building their teardrops. Jim Walker, his wife and his brother & wife will be coming to visit and check out the teardrops at Madison.
It's always a good feeling to have new builders getting excited about their teardrops.
They will be there (for the Ribberfest) and will probably visit the campgrounds on Saturday if all goes well.

Looks as if the most recent weather forecast is lookingpretty good. :applause: 8) :o

You just never know for sure until the day it happens.
