I believe it is to the day.
You can type in your info on the reservation page, then count the days backwards (on their calendar) until it shows available.

Sorry Dan, I tried it by looking six months to the day and it appears to be the way to go.

Thanks Rob

What we need input on is this...would you like to see a smaller number of tickets sold..say 60 total, at somewhere near $50 each, or something like 150 tickets total, at $20 each?
Or are we splitting hairs? We want to award the winner during the event, so all tickets would have to be sold before we can do that. We recognize that you will have a camper in tow during the event so either delivery or pick up in Central Indiana after the gathering will be required.

Wow!, what a great chance to get a teardrop trailer at a low price.

I'd go for (2) tickets @ $20 each and I don't even need another teardrop.

I suppose delivery could be arranged for a price that would cover expenses. I would personally ride along with Dan for the delivery. (I love a good "road trip")

This is your chance to own a new Teardrop for a very reasonable investment.

The reservation desk would let me reserve for 6/18/13 right now so it would seem that the earliest reservation window would be 12:01 AM on January 25th for July 25th arrival.

just an FYI Sites 8 and 9 are big and beautiful with lots of elbow room HOWEVER.....

Yep there is always a however...

They set a good 2+ feet below the road and the drainage is right down the cross road into these 2 sights.

In case of rain you will need hip waders.

I loved the site in 2012 but I did just get lucky and no rain.

Well so much for a raffle. Indiana state gaming laws prohibit groups of any kind from having raffles, bingo, 50/50, pull tabs, etc. Unless you are a registered non-for-profit organization. So we have our thinking caps on!

Thanks for the heads up --- I was looking at those spots :)

It looks like most of the spots down there though are pretty big and well hidden from each other by trees beween sites. Reminded me of Gov. Dodge state park in Wisconsin, which became the standard by which I judge when we visited there last year...Even though the park was full, we felt alone...

Hard to believe that we already have 58 interested campers. This is really good for December.

Don't forget, in January the reservations will be open so that you can claim your spot (6) months in advance of your arrival date.

Be on your toes when the time comes and we can all get in the spots that we want.

Kurt, do you know if they would allow us to park at ttt and a 13" burro in one of the pull through sites? I have a friend from Ohio who might be joining me and if we could double up it would be grand.

Bonnie, The rules for the state parks say One trailer and one tent per site but you could call the park and ask them. The pull thru sites are pretty big but they like to play by their rules.

Here's the number for the park.

John , I know everyone is getting excited about getting their reservations in as soon as possible.

The reservations can be made (6) months prior to your arrival date. eg. If you want to reserve July 25, 2013 -- you should be able to make the reservation on January 25, 2013.

Here is a link to the Campground MAP

Hopefully we can fill the park with CRA 2013 campers but only if we get in early.

One thing I am asking is that sites #64 and #47 not be reserved so that we can use them for the Friday, Saturday events. These sites will be reserved by Karl Nordstrom and me so that we won't be interupting any campers in those sites.

On line reservations can be made at This Reservation Link

Please pay close attention to the "Details" describing the campsite so that you get the site you want. Good luck. There will be several reminders posted as we get closer to the available dates for reservations.

I'm also working on the campground map with everyones locations as they register
So if everyone would post on here what sites they get I'll get them added to the map .

Also if everyone would do me a favor I'm working on something so as you make your resrvations would you please email me ( [email protected] ) an attachment profile picture of the camper you'll be bringing, if you're like me and there's one you're working on if you can send it to me as close to June 1 as possible that would be great . :pictures:

Scott, thanks for doing the MAP again this year. It really helps people know where others are camping.

This should be be posted on the "Tearjerkers" forum also for the best communications.

Thanks for your help.
