Hey RD.

I'm in Indy. Just finishing my teardrop this week...she's going on her maiden voyage this Friday. Heading down to Madison to Clifty Falls State Park for the weekend.

Are you looking to build one?

PM me or post and maybe I can e-mail you some pictures.

Chris

I don't have a teardrop, just a tiny trailer. I plan on camping at Brown County State Park October 14, 15. If you're planning on building a teardrop, I have a set of plans (unused) you're welcomed to. Let me know.

Hi,
I am in Evansville and interested in TD's but would also like to see one. Are you going to be at Clifty all weekend? I don't know that I am free to go over there but may want to try.

Cool! There *are* people in my area! :)

Me? I'm just in the planning/parts gathering phase. I _know_ I want one though and the wife likes the idea as well so we're going ahead with it.

Pictures and plans!? :o :? mana! Send 'em along! I'd love to see both!

Cheers folks!

The trip to Clifty Falls was great. The camper really draws attention. I must have given 5 or 6 "tours" to people who had stopped by while walking around the campground. One was a group of a dozen-or-so people. It's funny how these little things attract people like they do. One guy practically chased my car as we were towing our way out of the park...wanted to know what that thing was behind my car. Ha ha ha ha.

I'll post pictures later on tonight when I get home. I snapped some on the trip and after we got home.

Now you guys need to get busy building so that we have an Indiana group!

Joe,

I just wanted to thank you for your time and generosity with both your advice and the plans you offered. They're a good jumping off point to start from as we don't usually build something this big ourselves. You've got a great tiny traveller there! Stopping by to see it was a blast, really energizing! It's a real beauty and comfortable to boot! Heck, standing up in it was a treat (being 5' 11")! Thanks for taking time out of your trip to share!

Cheers!

RD.

Hi All,

This spring, sometime in late may (dates not firm yet) there will be a teardrop campout at Spring Mill State Park in Southern Indiana.

Generally about 10-15 tears show up.
All are welcome, even those without a tear, or with a different style camper.

Will post more as I get it.

Chris, My maiden voyage was to Madison also. You need to try the city campground too. It's just east of the bridge on Vaughn Drive. It's right along the river and is my favorite campground of all. I go to Madison at least once a year especially for the Blues festival in August (18-20). It's also a great place to watch the Madison Regatta (unlimited power boats).

Look under "lodging" and go to the bottom of the page. If you do happen to stay at the city campground, you'll be only the second Teardrop ever to stay there. Ask for "Chuck" and mention the funny little camper from Marion.
I think you'll like it.

Moo, Try to get to the Spring Mill Gathering. You'll see several Teardrops and other neat trailers.
Let me know if you need information.

RD,

I just finished a trip to and from Chicago.............or actually Bloomington. As I mentioned on an earlier thread, I didn't see one teardrop up in that area.
