Jessy wrote:how old is a camper that is considered vintage? Thanks, Jessy

Jessy, I'm not sure of the answer to your question. The invitation came to "Tearjerkers" as a group so I think that if we show up with a group they will be excited to have us.
Originally there was 22 campsites available (with expansion space if needed) so if we have a normal sized gathering we would be the only ones there.

We'll have to see how this develops.

Registration must be in as soon as possible, so let me know if you are interested.

I have received more information from the event so if you'd like to have a copy, please email me at [email protected]

A vintage car is commonly defined as a car built between the start of 1919 and the end of 1930. There is little debate about the start...
Vintage trailer appears to be about 30 years old

Seems to be a bit more subjective than that........

Kurts Mustang is 48 years old

My bike is 27 years old

We can't all be Jay Leno's

So what's your point ?

Travel trailers are considered vintage if they are 25 years or older. That is according to the definition of the Tin Can Tourists. The Tin Can Tourists is a nationwide and international group dedicated to preserving the history of the people and the trailers that played a predominant role in American history. There is a romance in a vintage trailer that is not found in today's recreational vehicles.

"People" call their car or trailer; old, classic, antique, vintage, etc.
Everyone has a different opinion...
Because one "club" says it is, doesn't mean much.

This is a battle that can't be won...

The sponsors are simply looking to get a bunch of trailers to help make their show.
'"Vintage campers, travel trailers, and RV's" are welcome.
Their list pretty much covers it all...They don't care... :o
