44 and 39 were already reserved before we took over the loop.

We have officially entered D loop! Anita S. has reserved site 61. All sites in C loop are gone except for the 2 drive-up sites. So don't be shy now that you have some company in D loop! :shake hands:

Some parks set aside sites that are non-reservable so people that "drive-up" at least have a shot at getting a campsite. Nicks Lake is usually booked solid during the summer months which is the reason why they probably do this. If you notice, there is no site 40 or 48 listed in loop C. I believe the actual term is an administrative site.

So far Anita, but don't worry, I'm sure there will be more! :D Not sure but you might be able to switch to one of the above mentioned non reservable sites when you check-in. I'll check with the campground and see if thats possible.

Long story, short. the guy who bought it actually came to look at the Metzendorf, and when he saw the FanDrop, he said that it would suit his needs better. So away he went with the FanDrop. About a month later, I have a message from this guy on my answering machine saying he would like to trade the FD for the Metz because the FD, as nice as it is, is to small for him, his wife and son and their 2 dogs! ( ya think?!!). Well, needless to say, I didn't return the phone call and lo and behold there it is on e-bay!! I sure hope it goes to a nice new home! If anybody out there buys it, let me know, I'd like to know who ends up with it.
