Wow Dave! 25 trailers and it's only March! Surely we could get at least 5 or 6 more before June. :D

Maybe we should have extended the number of days for the TearUp. That would give everyone more of a chance to make it down 'Teardrop Row' to check in on everyones campsite. Think we have room in the same spot for the pot luck? You and Steve will have to park your trailers on the road or something

We could always have it on Dennis and Darlas site... they have waffle equipment too and an outdoor theatre!

What we should have done is book a site and leave it empty so we would have a dedicated site for the potluck. But there should be more than enough room where we had it last year.

I can't remember for sure, but I guess there are no areas there that have campsites on both sides of the road so you could group together more. Probably wouldn't really want that with the water there I guess.

Sure wish we could make it this year!!! :(

Can we call in sick for you at work Kerry? Last minute perhaps? I forget what you were doing then..

There is a section on the pennisula where we could get sites kind of all in a bunch... although a bit farther apart... but then of course many would not be on the water, and jealously of the inlanders of the water folk would unfold, causing everyone to take the TearUp literally...

We'll just have to opt to enjoy the morning sunsets on the waterfront, and those fine adirondack sunsets, and get some excercise walk down the pathway of tears...

Dave,

It's not me, I am not working at all now!!! Judy cannot get away this year to attend for a miriad of reasons. We are hoping to make it back up again next year. And there is a very remote possibility that I may come up by myself, but that is very remote. Just have to wait and see. We are going to attend the gathering at Bowman Lake (May 16-18). I can't remember, are you guys coming down??

Hi Kerry,

We are already going to be at our Place in Lake Placid for a week just before hand so I'm not sure about this year at Bowman. It will be last minute if we do go.

Hurry book now before its too late!

Seems 225, 226, 227, and 228 have been scooped up by some 'mystery campers. That leaves 254, 255, 256 and 258 which are still available (257 also shows taken).

If you are thinking of coming, consider booking now to ensure you get a site in the area.

On a funny note, after spending 4 days digging out the PJ Snoozer... she is free!

Hey Dave & Kate,

I'll be in Lake Placid on April 12th around 12-3Pm with the new girlfriend to pick up the "Golden" canoe I ordered last year. Will you be in town to do lunch? Just wondering.

Hi Bill!

I found out today that our Airstream won't be accessible for a good two weeks because of all the snow/ice, so if we are around LP it will be because we are braving the cold and going camping at Fish Creek with the teardrop which we now have in the driveway. Not looking promising right now. Will probably try for the following week. I'll let you know if plans change though. Where did you buy it?

Hi Dave & Kate,

The canoe was made at Placid Boatworks ,263 Station Street, Lake Placid,NY. That is where we will be picking it up. They tell me there is a good bistro a few blocks away. Probably be grabbing lunch or supper before we head back to my girls ,brothers cabin, in Wells,NY for the night. Just thought if you were nearby,we could do lunch/supper while we were up that way, just to say Hi. No need to rearrange your schedule.

A worthwhile event Coop- My mom participated in Relay for Life events for four years until she lost her battle with cancer last fall. To bad you can't attend the Tear-Up, but there's always next year!
