Sorry to hear that Coop, but you have an excellent excuse! Enjoy the event!

No worry, we'll just have to plan another TearUp next year!

By the way Fish Creek opened last week. With excellent weather and hi temps we are getting itching to get back out camping!

Cheers

Only 49 days folks! I'm getting just a little bit excited. It will be good to see everyone again! Have to think about a dish for the pot-luck
Any more updates Dave? Unless it sells before then this will be the Metzendorf's farewell tour

Coop,
I'll miss seeing all of you, but see you all at a TD gathering later this summer. There are a lot of events this year!

Just bought a 1987 13'Scamp, but it will not be camping ready until the Fall. We are redoing the entire interior and fixin' her up for next season. This is going to be the family camper.

Hello Fish Creek folks,

Well it is with sadness I have to make this announcement. My girlfriend Bonnie & I discussed this decision at length. I will not be attending the gathering this year. A few weeks back I have had other cancerous areas removed. I am having surgery again the week before Fish Creek. I have skin cancer, it is deep, and have to have it removed from my back. I have to keep the area very clean, and may have limited use of my left arm. Thus my decision not to go.

I would like to Thank Dennis & Darla for offering to share their site with us ,because it would have been a last minute decision to go based on my girlfriends work schedule,if we went or not, even before my surgery. We would have been without a teardrop this year, and tent camping. Unfortunately fate has made the decision for me. Have a ton of fun folks, and post plenty of pictures please.

Bill,
Best of luck recovering and keep us updated. On the lighter side, Jim offers us good advice!

Jim,
Up here June is a transition month between Spring & Summer. Summer is July & August. Fall is Sept & Oct. Winter is Nov-mid April. It snowed today in PA. I know people who are still skiing in NH.

Needless to say, we don't have much use for TD's w/ AC. But a little heater is good sometimes. :)
See you again this year at South meets North.

got room for two more wannabes?

Postby reddz » Thu May 15, 2008 7:29 pm

Greetings All,

We are reddz, Ryan Ed & Diana (formerly DZ) from the Liberty Bell chapter. We'd like to join you at Fish Creek if there's still room. Preferably near a bathroom. Our Teardrop is under construction but we have a motorcycle camper that we still use.

Should we register too with the state park. Let us know and I'll get right to it. Thanks and looking forward to meeting more enthusiasts.

Hi reddz!

Still room, no problem. I'd suggest site 232 or 251. Neither is real close to a bathroom (8 sites away) however. See the participants which shows vacant sites at http://tearuptheadk.com/participants.html

To see site details (and photos) visit http://fishcreekpond.com/campsiteguide.html and click on the site you wish to check out.

To reserve visit Reserve America at http://www.reserveamerica.com/jsp/commo ... index.html

Cheers!

We never heard from any more about switching sites with Marc and April's friends so they'll be in 250 next to each other. Any idea if these friends are coming?
