Site #226 should be showing as available sometime soon. I've already canceled it in their system.

Sorry that we won't be seeing Nancy and Eric this year. Hopeful it works out for next year!

I have a few updates other updates to get to today on the list.

Also I've just received notification that the TearUp mugs have now been shipped. We'll be picking them up this week in Lake Placid and will be sure to 'test' them out... maybe with rum and coke!

Campers Package Available for the TearUp

Postby campadk » Fri Jun 04, 2010 9:10 am

Hope I have all the latest updates on the participants list.

Anyways heading out, down to Lake Placid for the week before the TearUp.

There is the Campers Package that I usually handout. I'll have some printed, on hand at the TearUp, but you can print your own.

Don't forget to bring items for the food drive as well as a gift if you would like to participate in the Steal a Gift game on Saturday night.

Download the campers Package (PDF file) at
http://tearuptheadk.com/campersguide2010package.pdf

See you there!

Thanks Dave! Just printed mine out and sent a copy to my friend that will be tagging along with me for the weekend.
Only 5 more days 'til we head up to the ADK. I can't wait!! I'm scrambling right now to have my trailer ready. I won't be taking the Scotty after all. (it's no where near done!) Instead I'll be camping in my Sprite 400. I have some repairs I have to finish on it over the next few days. Hopefully these will go smoothly and I'll be ready to hook up and go. I'm almost there. Keep your fingers crossed everyone! :worship: I do not want to tent it again this year (especially if it rains again!)
Looking forward to seeing everybody!!

Well folks, better get packing! Mary and Tom and Al and Leslie are already settled in over at Fish Creek and are snagging all the fun! I checked in on them today. Looks like they are setup permanently!

Al and Leslies new kayaks are pretty sweet!

I on the other hand spent the day up in Rollins taking a biz-zillion photos.

See some of you Thursday!

Just checked the forecast for the weekend. Thursday and Friday look good. Saturday possible thunder showers and the same for Sunday. Hopefully that won't translate into anything like the monsoon last year! :worship: Can't wait to go. Should be getting there late afternoon Thursday. Watch for the newbie trailer puller trying to back up a little green Sprite (no Scotty this year either) with a big red truck. That will be me :R

Wouldn't rely on an Adirondack weather forecast Theresa! The weather is what it is, when it happens at that moment in that particular spot! 40 years of camping in the ADK has taught me that  :fan: :rainy:
