If you see a couple of bottles/cans of Guinness floating around the lake at ADK don't worry . . . We'll most likely be using them as a floatation device

Hey no bubble bath in the ponds! No wait... I don't have a photo of that. Go for it!

I have received another 4 or 5 signups. Been away so a bit behind updating the participants list. Will do so this weekend, so no worry.

Food Bank Idea

Postby campadk » Sat May 30, 2009 8:16 am

Maybe we can setup a 'drop off station' at your site Ed/Becky... ie for other campers to drop off goods if they like. I'll check in with the park to see if that is ok. Maybe we could even have a drop off box at the front gate... you never know.

Participants List (and Photos) Updates

Postby campadk » Sat May 30, 2009 8:23 am

Think I have caught up with some new registrations for the TearUp, as well as a few photos. If you are not showing up on the list, do let me know! With emails, PM's etc I might have overlooked someone. We now have over 100 campers attending :o

Also if you have not sent in a photo for the list, and would like yours posted, just email me yours, or point me to some URL out in cyberspace. Don't worry about sizing it, I'll take care of that... send to [email protected] .

We'll be printing the list for everyone so you'll have a way to identify all the new campers. We'll bring name tags as well.

Only 13 days to go, so better start packing!

Hey Dave- seeing that site 244 is now open why don't you make it into a "gathering" site. Could easily fit everyone on it for the wine & cheese tasting and prize drawings. I'm sure everyone would pitch in a couple of bucks to cover the cost of the site and we could fit as many ez ups as we need in case of rain. Just a suggestion.

Great idea, except that RA only allows reserving for 3 days minimum which would be too much mula. I'll see about 'reserving it' for a day when we arrive earlier in the week.

Not likey someone will rebook it... will hope?

We'll be parking the mother ship off to the side to make room for the wine 'testers' just in case.

I'll see what we can do about 244 when we arrive.

I think fear of all those tiny trailers might keep people away... one can only hope.

Donna Sassy and I will be leaving in the morning to start our little trek. We think the food drive was a great idea. Look forward to seeing everyone on the 11th. Jerry

Gage is leaving Monday morning. He says they are going up Route 66 as far as St. Louis, then heading east & north.
