We are looking to go up to Lake Placid this weekend. Low 40 High 64. Seems more like hot cocoa/Baileys weather. :coffee:

How about some Irish Car Bombs!( pint of Guinness, shot of Jamieson Whiskey and a shot of Baileys) that'll put a curl in yer toes!

Maybe even on the rocks... perhaps there'll be ice on the lake?

Wow, I just found this little forum.... very nice. I just restored a '62 Scotty, 13 footer (I hope that's tiny enough).

I would love to go to Cranberry Lake the first weekend in October but I will be at Moffit Beach photographing a wedding (at Camp Fowler) and I am also booked for June 11, 2010 which counts me out of the Spring gtg at FC. Bummer. I have been camping at Rollins Pond since the early '60's and any excuse to go back is good by me... even if it is Fish Creek.

Anyways, I will start hanging around here.

Welcome! You'll have fun here and I'm sure we'll get to meet you at a NY gathering sometime. Perhaps the Spring gathering.

I reserved 39. I am hoping it's in the row of sites by the creek. I'm not enthused about being right on the water in October, but I am glad to be close to the washroom, see http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=31771.

I look forward to meeting other tearpeoples.

I have just reserved site #38. This will be my maiden voyage with my (almost complete) camper. I can't wait to see you all there.

Dave & Jenn- look forward to meeting you both.

Just a reminder to everyone- tailgate party/potluck on saturday afternoon starting around one-ish. So far the hotdogs, sausage and peppers, chili, venison chili, deviled eggs, and potato skins are covered. So think of something to bring if you haven't already.
