The gentleman I am selling our Scamp to was generous to let me camp one more time this season. He will be meeting us in Utica on Sunday to take ownership of his "new to him" restored 1987 13' Scamp. So looks like we will not be tenting it after all. Looks like cool temps and maybe rain/snow for the week end. Is anyone up for a Sat. climb of Bald Mt.? It has great views and a fire tower on top. Nate and Mia did it last winter with us, so it IS an easy climb. Hopefully there will be nice fall color by then.
Stacy and the kids are coming up Sat sometime.

Just watched my former TD drive away with another car towing it... but I began the new build tonight. Put together a new HF trailer. Just have to do the wheels and wiring tomorrow and I can start transporting the materials for the new design. I am SO looking forward to this weekend!!!

And it towed behind my Jeep Patriot like it wasn't even there, Ray. Backed uphill into my carport where my neighbors all wanted a tour, right then. And it IS light enough that even I can adjust its position and move it around.
Thank you so very much; I'm so glad I'm going to be strong enough to camp again. Have a great time at Nick's Lake. I'll be at Sampson on Seneca Lake, enjoying the dog show and praying for minimal rain.

Unfortunately we are going to have to bail. Work has been incredibly busy as this is peak season for us and we've already been burning the candle at both ends. Been stressing over how to get everything done in time this week but we are just pushing it too much trying to get to Nikes.
Does anyone need a site? I think ours is prime and has a panoramic water view, hydro, wifi, cable etc...
Sorry guys... Kate and I were so looking forward to seeing everyone.
Have a great time for us!

Gaelen,
You'll have to add '05 Homebuilt TD to your profile. Glad it was an easy tow. Have a good weekend at Sampson!
Dave & Kate,
Thats too bad... but understood. This year the weather seems to be turning sooner than later, so... maybe ski season will be here soon? We'll miss you guys. (btw... Stacy is going to stay home too with the kids this weekend.) They may take a ride up Saturday if its sunny. Dave, what do you mean WiFi? There is WiFi at Nick's Lake? Maybe I could switch sites with you? Take care everyone. I hope to get there by 6pm.
