Looks like Kurt will be all alone way over on 233. Hope the bears don't get him! LOL
Must have found our we're all nighttime party animals or something

Don't worry about me, I'll be up late joining the party too.
The hard part is getting past the bears.

I thought there would be people filling in the gap between 233 and the rest.

As the time gets closer, I'll see if I can move closer to the "action".

OK Dave, you scared me into it. I changed my site to #239.

I don't want to miss out on the fun (or get eaten by a bear).

The change should show up on the FCP site soon.

LOL

No worry on the bears... you have about as much chance as seeing a bear as being in a major storm.... oh.. ok so we had a 5 minute storm last year... big deal!

PS. I've updated the site to include a link to my campsite photo database so the camera links now owrk... just in case you want to plan how you are going to place all your equipment when you arrive

See http://tearuptheadk.com/participants.html

I've also moved you over to 239 on this list.

Anybody know how far Burlington , VT is from FCP? My wife will be visiting her sister in Shelburne (near Burlington) during the week.
To me, it looks like about 2 hours.

Just curious how long it would take to drive to Burlington.

Its usually 1.5 to 2 hours for us from Burlington to Lake Placid (we have done that trip twice)... depending on your timing with the ferry.

FCP is 40 minutes from Lake Placid.

Fantastic drive too!

High neighbor, what day do you expect to arrive?

That's a huge drive, but I'm sure it will be worth it. :applause:

We're arriving Thursday and leaving Sunday. Actually we'll probably leave Texas on Wednesday the 6th and go to Indy to catch the Goodguys Nats at IRP on Friday/Saturday 6/8-9; then head East. After the Tear weekend we'll head to Connecticut to visit Lenny's parents. Yes, a long trip. Thank God for books on tape! :)

IRP (Indianapolis, I assume) great event. I live about 60 miles North of INdy. I'll be at FCP on Monday so we'll have a long week of camping and enjoying nature. My son gets married June 9 so I'll be in Pittsburgh over the weekend and head to FCP Monday June 11.
My wife will join me for a day or two and then visit her sister in Burlington , VT.
I can't wait to see the Adirondaks again, it's been about 50 years for me.

Look forward to meeting you. "Old hot rodders never die, their pipes just get rusty."

My "old cars" are not that old but I usually tow the teardrop with my 65 Mustang. I'm not sure if I'll use it for the FCP event or not.

Well, the link works (or "owrks" if you prefer - must be a Canadian thing ) but there's no picture of our site! But judging from #248 and 246 it looks like it should be level, which is good.

Great Joanne/Lenny! Sorry missed your other posts. I gather that is a typo in your reserved dates... hate to see you arrive a month late in July! :o

How long a drive is that from Texas? You're definately travelling the farthest. Great to have you aboard!

PS. I've added you to the 'partakers' list.

Cheers
