Cool little trailer! We'll be right beside you on 219 in a '79 Sunlite Sunspot. See ya then.

I have a program that builds the participants list from a database. Seems I had a little glitch the other day and didn't notice. Indeed the list was jumbled! Must have been to keep everyone on their toes!

Anyways changes and several new signups are now added to the list.

Cheers

Wow, Mary, you are good. It is indeed Kring Point. I make sure to visit that park at least once a year, usually in August or September. It is my favourite Thousand Island Park, and one of the closest to home.

site number

Postby mary and bob » Tue Mar 15, 2011 9:01 pm

thought so, we recognized the rock, its a nice campground if you get a site on the water, but kind of hard to pound a stake into rock, but love the idea of camping on those flat rocks, we also loved boldt castle and his the tour on his houseboat docked at alexandria bay

More updates. 47 sites now book for a total of 90 campers prepared for a fun filled weekend. At this rate, we could have a record attendance!

New additions: Tom Swenson and Carol Costin (welcome back Tom!), Larry and Shawne, Gid and Terry!

Will there be anybody brewing coffee at like 4:30 or 5 a.m.? I'm an early riser. Gail and I may need a new coffee pot, and in which case, I will be that guy. Gee, gonna need some toast things too. Man o man!

Not long now, sure looking forward to it.

Hey Bob,

Did you check the website? I post updates there which detail whatever is going on as far as planning goes. Usually not a lot is posted till the spring however. Anyways wine and cheese and the steal a gift like last year on Saturday, campfire on our site Thurs, I do believe Theresa is doing the beer/wine 'discovery' on Friday. We'll have more updates in the month ahead. We are supposed to be doing pins and pendants I believe. Guess we better get going on that!

Anyways keep up to date at http://tearuptheadk.com/notice.html and of course on here.

Cheers

We're on Site 217

Postby TomS » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:58 pm

We booked Site 217 today. We'll be arriving on the Monday before the tear-up. We're bringing our kayaks. I

f any other early arrivals want to join us for a paddle, please let us know. Last year, we paddled over to Follensby Clear Pond then portaged into Horseshoe pond where we had a close encounter with some loons.

Hi Tom, Ed and I will be on 223 with our German Shepherd Dog and some manner of paddle craft. We haven't decided upon what as yet. We are hoping to test paddle an Adirondack Guide Boat while we're up there. I'll need everyone's help in making sure that Ed doesn't change my mind about leaving the Adriondacks with ANOTHER boat. ;)
