P.S. To Dave and Kate...two years ago I stumbled across your webpage and was hooked into this crazy business. It's been lots of fun building the trailer and I wanted to say thanks for the inspiration.

Old Cars?? I'm not an Ontariarian but I like "Old Cars" too. Tell 'em Jawbone! My main car (for normal gatherings when I go by myself) is a 1965 Mustang Coupe. I love the '60's cars no matter what kind.
I've towed the teardrop as far as Minden Nebraska (2005) and it did just fine. If you don't count the lack of A/C, Cruise and seat adjustments, it was a great trip. The old Mustang just seems to fit me and is not that uncomfortable to drive for a long distance.
Jawbone has seen the teardrop and the Mustang together on his (2007) trip to the "Bean Blossum" blues fest.
The "Old Cars" become sort of an "Icon" when it is used to pull the teardrop.
When I come to FCP, it will be with the new "Escape" for the convenience and comfort. I don't want my wife to get a bad taste of teardropping by using the crude old car for transportation.
I sure don't want to push my luck too far.
BTW, I did own a '76 MGB for about ten years and loved it. The British cars are in a class by themselves and are a thrill to drive.
Looking forward to meeting all of the "Ontariarians".
