I just posted part 1 of our run through the Adirondacks to get a perspective of what's there. The next video goes into Adirondack Park. Surprised that with so more elevation there's little alpine region. Looks a lot like the Green Mountains of VT. What did surprise me was the size and amount of streams there! Looks like a fisherman's paradise :D

Another has mentioned Moose River Flats area that's kinda southern Adirondack Park and I will dig into this as we explore deeper. Curious though... Anyone here familiar with back country Adirondack?

Perhaps a little. Grew up near Adirondacks, quite a few Boy Scout trips, and went to college on edge. 50 years later have moved back to north country.

Not sure what exactly you are looking for . Might also try ADKforum.com.

Areas of camp/fishing along stream/brooks. I'm 4wd, so deep is cool :)
