Wyoming is an amazing place. A mountain paradise, an historian's Mecca and a wanderer's dream.

I was thinking about this last year. I had planned to saunter up to Lovell to visit some family graves. I may still try that this year. Or something altogether different.

Make some more room....There will be 3 more Flatlanders and a crusty Texan showing up. Same bunch as 2020. Our reservations for Glacier and Banff are made, and WTW's will be on our return home. See ya all then.

I may have to contemplate Yellowstone or Grand Teton. I was in Big Bend over the holidays and picked up my free old GI pass.

You get to go thru Grand Tatas NP on the way to Yellowstone.

My Yellowstone experience from a couple years age was that you need at least 1 full day (I'm taking 2) to see the sights. Most parking lots don't have room to allow trailers, so you can't see sh*t while towing your trailer. So, 2 or 3 nights: one for "get there" day, and a night for each sightseeing day. Then you get a fresh start on departure day to head off and see Wyoming.

Some Wyoming sights worth seeing? Been there and did these: Take the east Y'stone exit to Cody for the firearms museum and the Buffalo Bill Museum. Bring swim trunks for a soak at Thermopolis hot springs. From there, south into the Wind River Reservation. For railroad buffs, Cheyenne has the Union Pacific museum.

I must have barely scratched the surface. Surely, some of you locals can guide us to other must-see sights.
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

I “think” Slow started posting under a new name, but don’t recall what it was.
