Colorado Campout 2005

Do to a canacellation we now have the Indain Creek camp ground its just 5 miles on 67 from osprey camp and 10 minutes from Sedalia it is a better site.(more trees) I will have the rute marked with red white and blue stremers
I think i will go play in triffic now

Do you know which area we will be in?

I see that there are: water, toilets, tables and fire rings and a max trailer length of 20'.

Daily camp fees are $12.

we are in area #1 we can put more than one tear in a site or wherever we need to as long as we dont block the road the whole sites is ours steve is going down thursday A.M. and pay for the whole site for the gather to guarantee thyat we have the site and we will split it up at the end of the gather and i shuld be there in the afternoon

Report: This is a great campground for families with children. Also a good overniter for couples and hikers. Not too far from civilization, but yet very quiet and serene. Has beautiful scenery with plenty sun and shade. Hiking trailheads are just a short distance from the sites with an equestrian area. The campsites are roomy and flexible for any sized tent, and are clean and well tended to. The campground it divided into two areas- upper and lower. This makes for various types of terrain at each of the different sites--particularly the lower section. You also will enjoy nighttime star gazing on a clear night.
Conditions: Do not be surprised if you encounter wild turkey on the campgrounds, including various species of birds, and other wildlife. Also, you will get an eyeful of mountainous vegetation in and around the campground including wildflowers and cactus. Firewood is plentiful within walking distance. Possibility of rainstorms during the day or night. We were told there were bears in the area, but we never saw any.
Water Availability: Water is available. Do check ahead of time to make sure the water system is up and running. Not adviseable to try to drink any of the creek water. Otherwise, it was clean and plentyful.

I will be at the Camp on Thuresday in the afternoon I hope to bring two tables and a canape for the pancakes and the dinner and shuld have it all setup by the time you get there

Do we need to reserve a campsite? I take it that a campsite is $12/ night, Is this true?

Yes and no yes the sties are 12.00 a night per site but we can put as many tears as we want to on a site so if we have 10 tears 48.00 divided by 10 is 4.80 per night

Just a note to say I'll be stopping by Saturday Afternoon with the family, to check out the tears. We would camp, but the littlest one is two months old,
and not quite camp worthy yet.

Well we had a good gather this year I was sorry to see it end hope you all had as good a time as i did. keep a eye on this site for info on a spring gather thats in the works

Did you get a chance to compile a list of campers that were at the Colorado Campout. I would like to get a copy.
