Sweet airplane! If you decide to do a fly over of the campgrounds take some photos for us. I've been looking at different ultralights for a couple of years. I'd love to pick up an old Bensen Gyro.

You won't be out of place, we're all kind of "out of place" anyway. There will be plenty of people walking around getting teardrop tours. I think the most commonly asked question from the teardroppers will be "are you on the forum?".

COOL !!! Fly on over, hope you can stay for a while !! The best thing is to see one in person ... Heck, if you built an airplane, we can only imagine what your teardrop would look like !

Goodie goodie !!! I'm still planning on it too , and it will be neat to meet some new and future teardroppers!!

It's a rainy weekend here this weekend, hope the weather is not too wet up there next weekend! Do you think we'll need air conditioning or are your nights getting cooler?

Breakfast

Postby Mrs Rayvillian » Fri Sep 11, 2009 5:29 pm

Dont forget ... breakfast provided by the Rayvillians .... but might have to have at the shelter house with all the folks coming. Also ... probably going to need some help doing the cooking and make some coffee. I dont think my two cup coffee pot would go very far  Trudy

I'll have Mr. Coffee on the job Saturday morning. Good old Maxwell House medium roast. Glad to help you out as labor or bringing supplies. Just let me know.

I don't drink coffee or make it, but I do have my big coffee/water plug in pot, that can keep the coffee hot while you make more in the coffee maker... if that makes sense or helps.

I don't do the DO ... but will help where I can Trudy !! And will bring some fruit to go with it.

My friend (FRIEND) Phil , he helped me with building my camper too , is going to be coming with me ... We're going to try to leave EARLY on Friday morning and be there noonish. Taking his red pickup instead of my black car.

I think he's bringing a coffee maker too .

What's the plans for main dishes on Saturday night potluck ??

Crappie camper's bringing a lasagna.

I think I'm doing my usual yummy deviled eggs, and Phil might be bringing some rolls.

I'll probably be there between noon and 2. Can't wait myself.

As people get there find a place to park and try to keep to one side or the other of the campsite. That way we can pack people in as needed. Please don't park either trailers or vehicles on the grass. If we get as big a turnout as it looks like we may have to park cars along the road. We always have the option to close the gates to the area and that way visiters will have to walk in and keep traffic down.

Don't forget you will need a vehicle pass, even if just visiting. They will be available at the guard shack.

WOOHOO!
