Hey Chad, The Tulsa area would be a good location for a gathering, although August might be a little hot, at least for me. Maybe Julie and Ron can recommend camping spots in the area.

Looks like fun but kind of close to Beavers Bend for me. Anyone been to this campground? It has a 31 site group camping area.

Just a couple of days from now we will be able to make reservations for LCG V!!!!!!! I don't remember what the site looks like but I think I'm going for 53 again this year. I think it's close to the site Gary and Trudy had in previous years. Hopefully we can group together some.

Be ready! the land grab starts in 2 days!

Anyone camping in May? After the Missouri Mill Creek gathering (4/30-5/2) there are no planned North Central gatherings until Crawford (9/24-9/26).

Palo Duro Texas looks awesome but it's just too far for a weekend outing for me.

Any ideas?

Nope, not in May anyway. I'd like to throw something together over at Clinton again but don't know when.

I know that Minnesota is on the extreme edge of the North Central Region but here is one thats not on your list:

4-6 June - 3rd International Northwoods Gathering (ING3) - Pine City, MN

Information can be found in the St. Croix Chapter section of the Tearjerkers web site.

We are slipping over to the Hoosier's Spring Mill gathering in May so we won't be going to Mill Creek. Going to see a whole nother batch of campers and folks.

We don't have any other definite camping plans until Crawford.

Jeff - Clinton in what state?

Father's day is June 20th.

There is always Missouri's Van Meter state park (no reservations). We visited last summer and I posted here: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=32070 We would have to wing it but it is off the beaten path so there should be sites available.

 So, let us know where and when...

That sounds interesting but Google tells me it is 580 miles for us. Perhaps one of these days.
