We're there for the fall gathering but let's get onto a March gathering at Crawford or Independence, Manhattan....anywhere we can get an early park pass. Want to use it when buying it......Queenie Jeanne

if we do it early March 2011 .... say the 4th - 6th we could call it Darren's birthday party.

Might be cold and blustery then but any day in March could be.

are you talkig about a gathering at crawford in March, and then one in sept? the regular one?

We want to get together sometime before April 1st. We can get the Kansas State Park Pass for $5 off before that date. That makes the park pass $19.70 for the year but if you don't have one it's $4.20 per day just to enter the parks. Basically if you plan on camping in Kansas more than 5 days you'll save money.

I'm going to check out Elk City State Park sometime before then. It is centrally located for most of us.
